Night of Museums in the Museum of Icons

Event details

6:00 pm – 7:30 pm – Visitors can experience an evening Orthodox service in the Byzantine rite, celebrated in Polish, held in the museum’s chapel.
8:00 pm – Concert of Orthodox church music performed by the male ensemble Katapetasma, conducted by Łukasz Hajduczenia and Piotr Świderski.
9:00 pm – 11:00 pm – Guided tour of the temporary exhibition Culture. Science. Openness, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the autocephaly of the Orthodox Church in Poland.

Practical informations

Additionally, visitors can explore the museum’s chapel, the stained-glass exhibition by Adam Stalony-Dobrzański, as well as the collection of icons and copies of works by Jerzy Nowosielski.
