“Maria. A Ukrainian Novel“ by Antoni Malczewski is a truly romantic and tragic novel that stirs human emotions. This is how we want to present it to you during our Night of Museums. It will be dark, eerie, and dramatic, but not only that. In addition to the manuscript of the work from the Raczyński Library, we will display a painting by Józef Simmler from the National Museum, all accompanied by truly romantic music from Roman Statkowski’s opera “Maria“ and its jazz interpretations by Kuba Stankiewicz’s trio.
