Event details

Olga Szczechowska paints her immediate surroundings. Well-maintained gardens, thuja trees in front of houses, common lilacs, and meticulously trimmed bushes. Geometrically shaped trees, pink flowers, spherical shrubs, and stormy skies create familiar scenes deeply rooted in the artists memory. She draws inspiration from real garden compositions found on the internet, seeking to understand how we control our closest spaces and nature. Despite their landscape-like appearance, these works strongly emphasize human presence.
