The “Mammals and Suckers“ exhibition at HOS Gallery presents a dialogue between Ida Karkoszka and Karolina Wysocka, visual artists whose work critically reflects on ecology, capitalism, and interspecies community. The exhibition explores the themes of sucking and extraction, merging biological, technological, and bodily perspectives to depict the intertwined relationships between nature and industrial exploitation systems.
The main part of the exhibition consists of two large-scale installations: “The Taste of Joy“ by Ida Karkoszka and “Breaking Mercury“ by Karolina Wysocka.

Practical informations

As part of the event, at 8:30 p.m., a sound performance by Wiktor Klimaszewski will take place, which will take place in the exhibition space of Ida Karkoszka and Karolina Wysocka. The event is part of the local festival Muranowska Majówka too.
