Event details

Fryderyk Chopin, a renowned composer and pianist, was born in 1810 in Żelazowa Wola and passed away in 1849 in Paris. A few months after his birth, he moved with his parents to Warsaw, which he left permanently in 1830. Many significant locations from his life are found along Krakowskie Przedmieście Street. Here, he lived with his family, studied, performed his first public concert in what is now the Presidential Palace, and, after his death, his heart was placed in the Church of the Holy Cross.
