4 pm - 6 pmAfter the introduction, I will briefly tell the extraordinary history of the once-sweet Miodowa Street, which was home to gingerbread makers from Toruń who settled here in the 16th century. Later, the street became full of palaces, including those inhabited by King Jan Sobieskis favorites – the Capuchin Fathers. After World War II, Miodowa Street became poor and burned out, but now it is regaining its former glory and significance. Thanks to the religious buildings located here, it has gained religious fame.
We will visit the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord and then the Basilian Monastery.
Free admission. No prior registration required. For the intended audience only. Tours are available during the designated hours.
