NIGHT OF ART AFTER THE RAIN | PROF. WOJCIECH CIEŚNIEWSKI | PAINTING Rain symbolizes wisdom, truth, and is a good omen; in many cultures, it represents happiness. It signifies life and new beginnings as well as a symbol of the earth’s fertility, hope, abundance, and reward. After the rain comes purification and renewal, which is reflected in the exhibition’s title: After the Rain – a presentation of selected paintings by one of Poland’s most important living artists, Prof. Wojciech Cieśniewski.
