Event details

We invite you on a tour of the oldest still-operating school in Warsaw. Visitors will step into the 19th-century salon of Cecylia Plater-Zyberkówna, attend a Polish lesson with Jan Miernowski, learn why Eligiusz Niewiadomski quickly lost his teaching position at Platerki, and discover the consequences of a student rebellion during the Marshals name day celebrations at the Grand Theatre. The tour also includes a visit to the basement, where modern students will recreate the realities of a field hospital during the Warsaw Uprising.

Practical informations

After an engaging tour, guests can enjoy Viennese coffee at a 1920s-style school courtyard café.
Free admission. No registration required. The event is open to designated target groups. Guided tours take place at scheduled times.
