The Katyń Museum is a unique martyrological, museum, and research institution documenting the Katyń Massacre, in which 22,000 prisoners and detainees held in Soviet camps and prisons between 1939-1940 were executed. The museum presents a unique permanent exhibition and a special temporary exhibit, bearing witness to this crime. For the families of victims, the museum is a place to deposit their most treasured mementos, while for visitors, it serves as an intergenerational bridge connecting the past with the present.
