To Chopin Under Steam 2025

Event details

Enjoy free rides on the historic narrow-gauge Retro train from the Museum of Narrow-Gauge Railway in Sochaczew to the Birthplace and Park of Fryderyk Chopin in Żelazowa Wola (with shuttle buses from Sochaczew Chodaków Station to Żelazowa Wola provided by the Sochaczew City Office). Additionally, take part in two special nighttime journeys on a historic train along the route: Museum of Narrow-Gauge Railway – Sochaczew Miasto – Museum of Narrow-Gauge Railway. The event also includes access to permanent and temporary exhibitions in the museum halls and a bonfire in the open-air museum.

Practical informations

Departures from the museum for “To Chopin Under Steam 2025“ train: 5:00 pm and 7:35 pm. Departures from the museum for the night train to Sochaczew Miasto stop: 9:30 pm and 10:10 pm (tickets available at the museum ticket office on May 17)
