6 pm - 12 amModern archaeological research allows us to view the Anthropocene not only as a present era but also as a record of future archaeology. Human activity—ranging from megacities to microplastic particles embedded in geological layers—creates a new type of artifact. As part of an inter-institutional collaboration, students from the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, under the guidance of curators Zofia Kwasieborska Keller and Antonina Konopelska, will present works engaging in dialogue with the Earth’s fabric.
• Opening event: Panel discussion at 6:30 pm featuring:
- Dr. hab. Błażej Błażejowski, Prof. PAN
- Dr. Monika Stobiecka, Faculty of Artes Liberales, University of Warsaw
