7 pm - 12 amThe Warsaw Barbican, along with its defensive walls, is one of the few examples of urban defensive architecture in Poland. As a modern reconstruction, it reappeared in the urban space in 1954. However, its structure conceals elements of a building constructed in the mid-16th century. The exhibition in the interiors of the Barbakan – Barbakan and the Walls of Old Warsaw. The Fate of the Monument – tells the fascinating story of how, after the war, the medieval building was rediscovered and reconstructed. It’s the only place where you can learn about the former city gates of Old Warsaw.
