Event details

During the Hindu festival of Madhuśrawani, for 12 days after sunset, stories related to snake girls are told. During the curator-led tours on Museum Night, you will get to know Mithila – a region in India at the foot of the Himalayas, where this festival is the most popular. We have also prepared for you: workshops and a show of the rhythmic foot beats and expressive gestures of classical Kathak dance, a sari fitting area, and for the youngest, a photo booth and coloring pages inspired by Mithila painting.
