6 pm - 1 amDuring the Hindu festival of Madhuśrawani, for 12 days after sunset, stories related to snake girls are told. During the curator-led tours on Museum Night, you will get to know Mithila – a region in India at the foot of the Himalayas, where this festival is the most popular. We have also prepared for you: workshops and a show of the rhythmic foot beats and expressive gestures of classical Kathak dance, a sari fitting area, and for the youngest, a photo booth and coloring pages inspired by Mithila painting.
The event is free of charge. No registration or prior notice is required. The event is dedicated to specific target groups. Tours will take place during designated hours.
