The building of the Sisters of Nazareth School, known since World War II as the Fortress on Czerniakowska Street, is one of the few buildings in this area that survived the Warsaw Uprising. Although today, the old walls are filled with lively school chatter, and the halls and classrooms are equipped with modern equipment, the extraordinary history of this place — just like the history of the entire city — is still alive and worth discovering.

Practical informations

Guided tours of the building will take place at 19:00, 20:00, 21:00, 22:00, and 23:00. Uprising run for children: 19:30 and 20:30. Exhibitions, patriotic stories, films, storytelling, workshops.
