What could be interesting here? Prehistoric settlements, Tsarist fortifications, remnants of old industries, and deep metro tunnels from the 1950s. Battles were fought here in 1939 and 1944, and years later, the area was deliberately depopulated, and buildings were demolished. We will visit a church consecrated by a future pope, a workers housing estate, and the villa of a factory owner. We will reach places where one might say, this is the end of the world, and recall Balcerek from the TV series “Alternatywy 4“. This place will surprise you…

Practical informations

The walk will last approximately 3 hours. Comfortable shoes are essential, and a flashlight will be very useful. Part of the route goes through a fairly wild forest, so bringing insect repellent is recommended.
