The exhibition “Portrait from Nature“ presents paintings by Edward Dwurnik alongside reportage photographs by Teresa Gierzyńska, which have never been shown before, combined with screenings of three documentary films about Dwurnik, directed by Andrzej Szczygieł, who passed away in 2024, as well as a video interview with Teresa Gierzyńska, who participated in making these films. The event is dedicated to the memory of the late documentary filmmaker Andrzej Szczygieł, who was a close friend of Edward Dwurnik and made three documentaries about him, which are completely unknown to the wider publ
