The exhibition of artworks by Nikifor Krynicki and Edward Dwurnik presents works inspired by travel and memories of places remembered. Both artists thus created a personal diary - a diary of a life journey. Nikifors watercolours, like postcards from holidays, travelled around Poland thanks to visitors to Krynica. Nikifor himself also travelled, most often by train. Inspired by Nikifor, Dwurnik, known for his series Podróże autostopem [Hitchhiking trips], also set off in the 1960s to portray the towns and cities he visited in his drawings.
