‘Saunatic’ is an outdoor exhibition about the history and tradition of sauna culture. For thousands of years worldwide, the sauna as a place of health and socialising has been an important part of human life and communities. Depending on the region, it has taken various forms and names: sweat lodges in Africa and Native America, Roman baths, Islamic hammams, Finnish savusaunas, or Slavic banyas. The exhibition consists of photographs with descriptions, accessories, and an example of a real sauna.
