Event details:

The exhibition focuses on spirituality manifested in several aspects of Haitian social life – religion, political engagement, and contact with nature. To provide the Polish audience with context and a more familiar point of view, the exhibition showcases Polish works alongside Haitian works. For example, to showcase works addressing themes of dance, ritual, and the power of collective action, we present works strongly linked to religion, particularly Haitian Vodou, as well as a more secular perspective of traditional Polish folk and social dances.
