Event details:

We invite you to lectures by the staff of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University of Warsaw, for a joint journey into the past with researchers of the Orient and travellers from various parts of the world who have traversed vast territories from Asia to Europe and Africa. Experts from the Faculty of Oriental Studies will talk about how journeys were made in Japan in the past, why Europeans embarked on expeditions to the Ottoman Empire, and what ancient Indian travellers sought in Europe.

Practical information:

Staff of the Faculty of Oriental Studies will present lectures with visual materials. Lectures will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The auditorium has 160 seats and is located on the ground floor.
