Event details:

The Warsaw Barbican, along with the city walls, is one of the few examples of urban defensive architecture in Poland. Its structure hides elements of a building erected in the mid-16th century. The exhibition inside the Barbican – ‘The Barbican and Walls of Old Warsaw. The Fate of the Monument’ – tells the fascinating story of how this medieval structure was discovered and reconstructed after the war. It is the only place where you can learn about the old city gates of Old Warsaw. The Barbican is part of the walking route along the Old Town walls, available on the Museum of Warsaw website.

Practical information:

Admission to the Warsaw Barbican is free during the Night of Museums, no registration required. The exhibition can be visited from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
