The Night of Museums is a unique moment of the year when visitors can explore the Katyn Museum after dark. Upon crossing the gate of the Warsaw Citadel, visitors will see the beautifully illuminated Parade Ground and historic walls. Inside the museum, apart from the permanent exhibition, visitors will have the chance to see the temporary exhibition ‘The Last Resident of Lubomirski Palace. General Mieczysław Smorawiński.’ Additionally, generally unseen artefacts from the museums collections, which are usually kept in storage due to their sensitivity and fragility, will be displayed.
Practical information:The exhibition will be open from 5 p.m. till midnight (last entry at 11.30 p.m.). Guided tours will also be available at the following times: 5.30 p.m., 6.30 p.m., 7.30 p.m., 8.30 p.m., 9.30 p.m., 10.30 p.m. Direct entry through the Nowomiejska Gate.
