Piotr Wójcik
Piotr Wójcik, a photojournalist, decided to portray Belarusians who are trying to rebuild their lives in Poland. Their common experience includes pro-democracy activities in Belarus, fleeing their homeland due to persecution, and now actively participating in building a new reality. Each of the visual stories is accompanied by text written by Iryna Arakhouskaya, a Belarusian journalist forced to flee her country. Wójciks collaboration with the Belarusian journalist enriches the project, adding credibility and building tension arising from the different experiences of the creators.
Practical information:The entrance to the building is located on ul. Kubusia Puchatka. During the event, visitors can explore the exhibition and access the photo-book reading room. The event is limited to a maximum of 50 people.
