Dmytro Tarasenko
Derek (Dmytro Tarasenko) – born in Kropyvnytskyi, Ukraine. In times when everything around is burning, exploding, and in a state of stress, nature takes on the same form of anguish. Dependent on the aggressive environment surrounding them, plants change their form or simply take on the most suitable appearance for camouflage in order to survive in a particular area. Will nature be able to return to its original peacetime form later on? The artist addresses the world of vegetation as an analogy for human reflection on the events surrounding us today.
Vernissage from 19:00 to 22:00, exhibition duration May 18th - June 18th, 2024
