Tour of the interiors of the former Gestapo prison located in the building at al. Szucha 25 during the occupation by Nazi Germany. After the war, the Mausoleum of Struggle and Martyrdom was established at this site. The exhibition includes authentic cells with inscriptions made by the inmates, as well as a multimedia section covering topics such as the defensive war of 1939, the terror of occupation, and biographies of prisoners. An exhibition titled ‘I Wanted Warsaw to Be Great,’ about President Stefan Starzyński, who was arrested by the Gestapo at the beginning of the occupation.
Guided tours of the exhibition with an educator at 7 p.m., 9 p.m., and 11 p.m. (approx. 30 min each). At 8 p.m.,the originator of the exhibition about President Starzyński, Dr. Beata Michalec, will lead.
