In a friendly space, you will be able to admire the unique paintings of Hakya Gago, a Polish-Japanese artist. Hakya paints the deep sea and the life within it, nurturing her Japanese side. There will also be an opportunity to meet the artists personally. Parallel to the exhibition, we will conduct half-hour origami workshops ending with hanging works on a bamboo wish tree, and 45-minute Japanese calligraphy workshops. The workshops will be led by Chie Piskorska – the owner of MakiMaki Friends, a native Japanese.
