Event details:

We invite you to a walk through the northern part of the former Warsaw Ghetto, where almost no old buildings or fragments of ghetto walls remain. Post-war housing estates have risen here on the ruins of former life. Under the new streets, lawns, and blocks lie the basements of old Jewish tenements and remnants of the pre-war world. During the walk, we will see the archaeological excavations at the intersection of todays ul. Miła and Dubois. Research in this area was conducted by researchers from the Warsaw Ghetto Museum in the summer of 2022.

Practical information:

We will visit the most important memorial sites in the area of the former ghetto. The walk will be led by Masza Makarowa from the Education Department of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum. She is a city guide, author of the Guide to the Warsaw Ghetto.
