At the Centre for Education and History of the Warsaw Fire Brigade, visitors will see exhibitions showcasing the development of rescue techniques through examples of vehicles and firefighting equipment from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. They will also have the opportunity to learn about the history of the Warsaw Fire Brigade, which is the oldest professional firefighting formation in the country. An additional educational element will be the presentation of a mobile simulator of threats occurring in residential buildings and a screening of the educational film ‘FIRE.’
Practical information:The Centre for Education and History of the Warsaw Fire Brigade is located at Fire and Rescue Unit No. 5 in the historic building of the Praga Fire Department. Entrance to the premises is possible through the main gate at 2 Marcinkowskiego Street.
