Event details

The Chmielewski studio at Hallera Square was occupied by the artist couple for over 50 years. It now serves as the headquarters of the Art Modern Foundation, which organizes exhibitions and other artistic events promoting Polish art. The interior of the studio, which also served as their home, retains some of its original design created by the Chmielewskis, including mosaics, bas-reliefs, and stained glass. In the post-war years, the Warsaw artistic community linked to the Academy of Fine Arts gathered here. Today, visitors can view an exhibition on Polish modernism (Muter, Gottlieb, Biegas).
