On this night, visitors to the museum will have the opportunity not only to see the unique exhibition ‘ Japanese Militaria. The Collection of General Sławomir Petelicki and the Polish Section of the Japanese Sword,’ but also to watch sword fighting demonstrations and listen to lectures. Additionally, our guests will have the chance to learn about various aspects of Japanese sword culture at thematic stands prepared by members of the Polish Section of the Japanese Sword. On this night, we also invite you to visit our permanent exhibitions ‘Journeys to the East’ and ‘Sound Zone.’
6.30 p.m. – Bamboo sword fighting demonstration in the Katori Shintõ-riu style
8.30 p.m. – Steel sword fighting demonstration in the Wing chu style
9 p.m. – Bizen Swords – the most famous forge in Japan
10 p.m. – Evolution of the Japanese sword
