Two film screenings: – 3 p.m. Surprise Film for Children – 6 p.m. ’Perfect Days‘ directed by Wim Wenders. Hirayama, who lives in contemporary Tokyo (played fantastically by Kōji Yakusho, awarded for his role at the Cannes Film Festival), is a man of few words and introverted, yet filled with love for the world and others. Following the protagonist, we discover the rituals he engages in with complete dedication. Over time, even Hirayamas mundane work of tidying up urban toilets (each of which is an architectural masterpiece) turns out to be an extraordinary ceremony.
