What could be interesting here? Prehistoric settlements, 19th-century fortifications (well tell you how to find them, although they no longer exist), traces of former industry, and deep metro tunnels from the 1950s. Battles took place here in 1939 and during the Warsaw Uprising, many years later the settlement was deliberately depopulated and buildings were destroyed. Well visit a church consecrated by a future pope, a workers estate, and a villa belonging to a factory owner; well reach places where you can say, this is the end of the world.

We start from the ZTM Elsnerów stop (bus terminus 170) at ul. Bardowskiego. The walk will last about 3three hours (we always say this – probably a bit longer). Comfortable shoes are a good idea, and a torch might also come in handy.
